Hallo Ihr Lieben,
Happy Birthday, und sorry, ich habe es vergessen!
Ich habe den Geburtstag meines Blogs vergessen. Am 16.02. ist er 1 Jahr alt geworden. Es gab keine Torte, keinen Geschenketisch – sorry! Ein Jahr und 49 Beiträge. Ich habe versucht jeden Montag einen schönen Beitrag zu posten. Knapp verfehlt 49 ist nun mal nicht 52. Und das ist nicht schlimm.
Ich habe über dieses Jahr so viel Feedback und auch viele Fragen zu meinem Blog bekommen und deshalb erzähle ich euch heute einfach etwas über SchönHerum, diesen Blog und mich.
SchönHerum, mein Blog und ich
Zuerst gab es SchönHerum bzw. SchönHerum.de. Seit 2015 DER Onlineshop für Geschenkverpackungen für jeden Anlass. Das Unternehmen ist aus einer Leidenschaft und einem gefühlten Mangel entstanden und soll natürlich dazu dienen, dass ich meinen Lebensunterhalt damit bestreite. (Mehr dazu könnt ihr in dem allerersten Post hier auf dem Blog lesen). Täglich bin ich mit voller Begeisterung dabei, auch wenn ich permanent in einer Achterbahn der Gefühle sitze und immer wieder beäugt werde. 😉 Meine Leidenschaft ist also zu meinem Beruf geworden. Nicht immer einfach, aber machbar, und ja #ichliebemeinenjobüberalles!
Dieser Blog kam 2016 dazu und ist ebenso eine Herzensangelegenheit von mir, um meinen Kunden, Freunden und der Familie zu zeigen, was alles auf meinem Schreibtisch, in meinem stillen Kämmerlein, in meinem Kopf und manchmal eben auch in meinem Alltag so entsteht. Das Leben schreibt nun mal die schönsten Geschichten und die teile ich sehr gern. Geschenkverpackungen, Do-it-yourself-Anleitungen, Rezepte, Erfahrungen, Gedanken. Der Blog hilft mir sehr oft Gedanken zu Ende zu denken, sie aufzuschreiben und Dinge klarer zu sehen. Er setzt mich aber auch regelmässig unter Druck…manchmal positiv, manchmal negativ.
Ich bin der Antrieb und der kreative Kopf hinter SchönHerum und diesem Blog. Ich habe noch keine Angestellten, bin eine Ein-Frau-Show, Mama von zwei Raketen und Ehefrau. Ich habe ein Büro / Lager außerhalb unserer vier Wände und einen Schreibtisch zu Hause. Sobald die Kinder wohl behütet außer Haus sind, widme ich mich allem was bei so einem Unternehmen anfällt. Wochen-Monats-Jahresplanung, Versand, Kundenanfragen, Buchhaltung, Budgetplanung, Warenbestellungen, Shoppflege, Neuanlagen, Neukreationen, Kooperationen, PR, Blog etc. Natürlich arbeite ich mit externen lieben Menschen zusammen.
Shopbetreuung: Thomas von Netzgiraffe, Buchhaltung: Wollenberg & Wissing, Unterstützung bei der Grafik: Katrin Kirmse…und natürlich meine Eltern, die immer wieder einspringen, wenn es „brennt“. Und nicht zu vergessen all die lieben Menschen mit denen man sich regelmäßig unterhält, Erfahrungen teilt, wo man Fragen stellt und konstruktive Antworten bekommen, alle Namen hier aufzuzählen, würde wohl den Rahmen sprengen. Ich schätze euch alle so sehr – herzlichen Dank! Im Schnitt komme ich so auf eine SchönHerum-30-40h-Woche.
Eine gute Mischung
Ich werde versuchen auch weiterhin meine Beiträge zu planen und es wird auch weiterhin eine Mischung aus Anregungen für Geschenkverpackungen, Basteleinen, etwas Alltag und leckeren Sachen geben. Ich möchte dieses Jahr gern mehr Freebies für euch bereitstellen und wenn ihr Wünsche oder Anregungen habt, was euch interessiert oder noch fehlt, dann immer her damit!
Und weil ich immer wieder die gleichen Fragen gestellt bekomme nutze ich die Gunst der Geburtstagsstunde um hier ein paar Fragen zu beantworten.
Fragen und Antworten
Wie schaffst du das alles?
Ich würde sagen, ich bin wohl organisiert und gehe die Dinge so an, wie sie anfallen. Trotzdem werde ich doch immer wieder aus meinem Plan geworfen und versuche mich frei zu rudern. So wie auch diese Woche. Kind krank, Plan B, Plan C…. Ich muss immer flexibel bleiben und auch umdenken und lernen mich nicht darüber zu ärgern. Ja, ich wollte am Montag schon längst einen Post veröffentlich haben, aber die Energie und Zeitreserven haben es nicht zugelassen.
Gerade die Zeit ist immer wieder ein Problem, welches mich an die Grenzen bringt. Dann heißt es Prioritäten setzen. Das machen was am wichtigsten ist und der Rest muss warten. Meine erste Priorität liegt neben dem kranken Kindlein, natürlich beim Kunden. Die Bestellungen und Anfragen werden in jedem Fall bearbeitet, weil meine Kunden alles am Laufen halten und ich dafür mehr als dankbar bin. Irgendwie findet man immer eine Lösung! Und nach so einer Woche sage ich mir dann „Nur das Genie beherrscht das Chaos“ und weiter geht es. Alles schaffe ich nie!
Woher bekommst du die Ideen?
Aus meinem Alltag. Gespräche mit Kunden, Reisen, die Kinder! Es gibt immer wieder Geschenke die ich verpacke, bei denen ich denke, das musst du unbedingt verbloggen und dann habe ich die Kamera im Homeoffice liegen.
Ich bin immer mit offenen Augen unterwegs und sauge Inspirationen auf wie ein durstiger Schwamm. Ich denke gern quer, albere herum, überlege gern wie man es vielleicht noch anders machen könnte. Wie zum Beispiel bei meinem Wirsingbeitrag. Eigentlich war das Rezept dem Grünkohl vorbehalten, den gab es aber nicht, also habe ich es anders versucht und es schmeckt. Das musste ich einfach teilen.
Oder der Traumfänger, den wollte unser Kleiner basteln und so sehe ich darin immer wieder eine Chance, eine Herausforderung und setze es um. Und wenn es mal nicht so läuft, dann braucht es eben eine kreative Pause, ne coole Zeitschrift und einen guten Kaffee und die Fähigkeit die Pause zuzulassen.
Verdienst du mit deinem Blog Geld?
Nein und ja. Ich schreibe keine gesponserten Posts. Alle Namen, Firmen oder Personen die ich in meinem Blog nenne oder verlinke, nenne und verlinke ich aus persönlicher Überzeugung. Ich bekomme keine Blogbeiträge oder Nennungen bezahlt. Sollte mir irgendjemand in Zukunft Geld hinterher werfen und ich bin zu 120% überzeugt von was auch immer, dann werde ich das ausdrücklich und den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen entsprechend kennzeichnen. Ist aber so nicht geplant.
Der Blog dient in aller ersten Linie dazu, dass ich meine Erfahrungen und Ideen mit euch teile und ihr seht, dass Geschenkverpackungen einfach nur schön sind und kein Geschenk jemals wieder ohne Verpackung den Besitzer wechselt! Alles was ich an Material von SchönHerum verwende, verlinke ich selbstverständlich mit dem Shop und freue mich, wenn dadurch auch der ein oder andere das Material im Onlineshop kauft. Das ist dann der Teil, wo ich mit dem Blog Geld verdiene. Und natürlich bringt mir der Blog mehr Traffic auf meine Seite. Wer will das nicht.
Wie machst du die Bilder oder wo bekommst du die her?
Ich fotografiere meine Blog-Bilder alle selber. Im Büro, zu Hause, in meiner Küche. Ich benutze dazu eine SAMSUNG NX 300. Sehr oft bearbeite ich die Bilder noch ein bisschen. Oft reicht es ein wenig Helligkeit zu korrigieren. Manchmal ändere ich die Größe und manchmal stelle ich die Bilder frei. Ich benutze dazu die Programme Adobe Lightroom und Photoshop. Ich habe mir die Programme langsam, Schritt für Schritt in so mancher Nachtschicht, selber nahe gebracht und bin auch heute noch oft am Verzweifeln. Zeit für einen Kurs habe ich momentan nicht, steht aber auf meiner Löffelliste. Für den Shop fotografiere ich auch fast alle Bilder selber. Sofern ich Bilder von anderen Fotografen oder Firmen benutze, dann kennzeichne ich das auch.
Die tollen Bilder von mir, hier im Beitrag, hat die liebe Daniela Müller (http://daniela-mueller.com) gemacht. Sie fotografiert Hochzeiten, Familien und Menschen wie mich, die gern mal schöne Portraitbilder haben möchten. Es war ein lustiges Shooting mit ihr, die Chemie hat gepasst und es gibt noch so viele andere Bilder!
Kann man mit deinem Geschäft wirklich Geld verdienen?
Ja, wenn man dran bleibt und sich und das was man tut immer wieder kritisch unter die Lupe nimmt! Schritt für Schritt wird es eine runde Sachen, einfach SchönHerum. Ich versuche nach links und rechts zu sehen, mich aber nicht von meinem Weg abbringen zu lassen. Hätte ich auf alle lieben Ratschläge gehört, wäre ich schon 3x Pleite und ihr könntet keine tollen Geschenkverpackungen mehr kaufen. Ich benutze oft mein Bauchgefühl, höre meinem Kunden zu, vermische die Gefühle und Ideen mit meinen Plänen und Finanzen und treffe daraus Entscheidungen. So kam es auch zu dem SchönHerum-Verpackungsservice und den hübschen Schmetterlingen im Set.
Hast du auch einen Laden?
Nein, leider nicht. Manchmal würde ein kleiner Laden die Bekanntheit sehr steigern, aber so ein Laden will auch gut organisiert werden. Mein Bauch sagt in der momentanen Familiensituation eindeutig nein, aber es ist schon immer eine Musik die ich in der Zukunft in meinem kleinen Laden spielen höre. Wer shoppen möchte, darf mich jederzeit im Büro / Lager besuchen. Dort kann man all die Schätze sehen, anfassen, du darfst vor Freude quietschen und kaufen.
Dieses Jahr möchte ich auch noch an paar Kreativmärkten teilnehmen, es sind Workshops geplant und da kann man dann selbstverständlich auch etwas SchönHerum zu sich nehmen. Dieses Wochenende bin ich erst einmal zur Hochzeitsmesse auf dem Rittergut Plaußig (siehe unten mehr dazu).

Ausflugstipp fürs Wochenende
Und jetzt noch etwas in eigener Sache: Tata, wer am Wochenende Lust auf SchönHerum-Shopping hat, der darf mich gern auf dem Rittergut Plaußig bei der 2. Hochzeitsmesse besuchen.
Dort habe ich einen hübschen Stand und werde allen Heiratswilligen und Dekoliebhabern zeigen, wie man Tisch und Gastgeschenke SchönHerum machen könnte. Die Schmetterling im Set kann man dort käuflich erwerben, nur an dem Wochenende auch in zwei Sonder-Editionen. Die wird es nicht im Onlineshop geben.
